Aquarium Technician

We are looking for a dedicated Aquarium Technician to manage the installation, maintenance, and health of freshwater and marine aquariums. The role involves hands-on technical work, livestock care, and ensuring high-quality aquatic environments for clients across residential, commercial, and institutional projects.

The Aquarium Technician will be responsible for the setup, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting of aquarium systems. This role requires attention to detail, responsibility for live organisms, and adherence to safety and quality standards. The technician will work closely with senior aquarists, project managers, and clients.

1. Install and set up freshwater and marine aquariums
2. Perform routine maintenance including water changes, cleaning, and equipment checks
3. Monitor and maintain water quality parameters
4. Feed and care for fish, corals, and aquatic plants
5. Diagnose and resolve equipment issues and livestock health problems
6. Assist in aquascaping and redesign projects
7. Maintain service logs and maintenance reports
8. Ensure compliance with animal welfare and safety standards
9. Coordinate with the operations team for scheduled visits
10. Educate clients on basic aquarium care when required

1. Minimum 10+2 / ITI / Diploma (Science background preferred)
2. 1–3 years of experience in aquarium maintenance or related field (freshers with training may apply)
3. Certification or training in aquaculture, marine biology, or aquarium management is an advantage
4. Passion for aquatic life and environmental care
5. Valid two-wheeler license preferred (for field visits)
